Omschrijving
Parisian mantel clock model Empire, French - period 1870-1890
Mechanical - Striking clock with 8-day movement - The bell chimes every half hour

Parisian timepiece from the French Empire, in gilded bronze
Period 1870-1890
Gilt bronze
On the back, underneath the mechanism, there are different numbers engraved, including the date when first serviced 11-03-1939

Like all Parisians like this modestly sized table clock, it has an imposing base and is highly detailed, from which there issues a horse that seems to be jumping over the clock.
Dimensions: 42x37x12 cm
Mechanical movement, keys not included

Inherited from generation to generation in my family.
Used last by my grandmother, now it clashes with my home's modern furniture. Needs a bit of service for it to work perfectly.
Happy bidding!
