Black lacquer case with mother-of-pearl inlay - Nagasaki, Japan - ca. 1890-1900 (Meiji Period)
Made in Japan for export to the West. The more inlay work, the more luxurious the box. Box is black lacquered with a marquetry of detailed houses in a landscape
In the box there are a mirror , a smaller box, also various small storage compartments
Height 6,8 cm length 22 cm, depth 16,4 cm.
Condition; outside box tear and wear, inlay center on the lid is intact, one small box needs repair.
Wil be send registered in a lot of bubble plastic ( and it is possible to pick up at the seller's place in Amersfoort.)
