Pair of Liége Travelling percussion Pistols circa 1850, in case . Steel barrels, eightfold, with grooves. Marked with Liége proof marks
( ELG), barrel left side. Decorated Steel garrisons. Flower decorations. Lock " front action" . Very good quality steel; . Working fine ( in the two positions), springs very strong. Bright walnut root stocks .Nice butt with cavities to hold fulminants ( one with sign of past small welding probably made in is life time) . Steel rods ( one not original).

These guns are in good condition.

In a Mahogany case , central scutcheon in brass. with key ( this is not is original case). Interior lined with velvet, compartmentalized, containing: brass powder flask ; lubrificant bottle, unmarked; apocryphal box, brass, unmarked for fulminant; steel mold, and screwdriver with rosewood handle. Signs of use appropriate to the age and facelifts.
