Rusland - Sabel

Large, heavy sabre, probably a Russian prototype after the French ANX l model. On the back of the blade is Russian writing 9In my opinion), not legible for me, but ends with 1836 . The sabre is tarnished but not rusty, the hilt is still in a good condition for its age but a little porous with minor chips. The hilt, the blade and the scabbard are stamped with the same letters, so I’m assuming that they belong together. The blade width after the ricasso is about 35 mm, the blade is heavily curved.
The bottom section of the scabbard has the usual dents, all-in-all, I would say it’s a very nice collectable piece
