Impressive and important seven-light candelabrum in Empire style.
It has a 13 cm square base on which rests a first fully chiselled circle with three lion heads. The column has two rows of downward-facing leaves at the bottom and a circle at the top from which stem the 6 arms while the 7th one is on top. Its impressive weight, 5 kg, shows the impressiveness of the candelabrum which may be used to light up an important dinner or may be electrified.
Such objects always find the right spot. I have always had it cleaned at home and never polished so as to keep its antique patina. The size of the candelabrum demonstrate that it is an antique item. It is also very rare to find seven-light candelabrum.
