Buddhist ‘Mala’ prayer necklace consisting of 3-eyed agate ‘dzis’:
Acquired during my travels in Asia.
The Mala accompanies Buddhist practitioners in their prayers and serves for the recitation of mantras.
In Buddhism, the mala is held with the left hand, and the beads are rolled with the index and thumb of the right hand. This gesture symbolizes the release of suffering and the load of bodies with positive energy.
3-eyed Dzis represent the three lucky stars: happiness, honour, and longevity. It is the bead of wealth and health.
