Kagamibuta-type manju netsuke in ivory and bronze depicting Jurojin with staff and parchment. The artist manages to depict the wise man with few chisel strokes, making this simple representation a truly refined picture that is lit up by a touch of gold plating on the parchment.
Signed.
In very good condition overall, the ivory does NOT have broken parts unlike similar netsukes.
