Beautiful collection of 24 different pieces ceramic coins from several different cities. Including white and gold gilded pieces. All produced between 1921/1925. Will be delivered in Lindner sliding cassette.
The German porcelain Notgeld (emergency money) are a special form of Notgeld produced in the years before the German Hyperinflation, and a shortage of small change. These special form of coins were struck in Meissen in Saxony. Most of the coins were done in red Böttgerstoneware, but also in white porcelain. They were issued for the province Saxony, Meissen, and a number of other cities.
