Ivory okimono - Monkey tamer - signed 'Wazuki' 和月 - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)
Okimono sculpture in ivory, carved out of a single tusk with refined workmanship, it depicts a man holding a fruit in one hand and a monkey at his feet.
Signed on the base, from the Meiji Era (1890/1912), manufactured before 1947 and therefore compliant with the regulations imposed by the European Union for the ivory trade. The item comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by a registered expert from the Italian National Roll.
