Autographed message to Armand Lanoux.
Paris, Julliard, 1964, quarto, paperback, cover illustrated, printed, and tucked in. First edition. Illustrated with numerous drawings by Bernard Buffet for this journal based on the hell experienced by Françoise Sagan following an accident.
"In the summer of 1957, after a car accident, I was, for three months, the victim of pains sufficiently unpleasant for me to be given a substitute for morphine called the "875" (Palfium) daily. At the end of these three months, I was sufficiently intoxicated to have a stay in a specialised clinic. It was a short stay, but I wrote this diary which I found the other day. "
Light yellowing on the edge of the cover (see photo).
