A million years ago, a planetoid of metallic composition and large size crashed into the north of Scandinavia, in present-day Sweden. This meteorite is known by the name of Muonionalusta, and it is up to today, the oldest meteorite from which there is evidence in the Earth. It was discovered for the first time in 1906, and since then it has been possible to recover some specimens, usually of small size.
In this batch we present a sheet of meteor with the shape of a shield mounted in stainless steel. You can see the Widmanstatten patterns of this meteorite classified as "fine octahedrite". A unique and exclusive gem. There are no two alike.
We are members of the IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association), with number #7412. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our specimens. Buy with guarantee.
