A lovely Chinese porcelain saucer with a central decoration of figures (possibly a scene from the ‘Romance of the Western Chamber’ in a strong underglaze blue. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical motifs. Handcrafted in ancient China during the early Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (around 1700). The figures are a scholar, a warrior and a lady.
Diameter: 11,8 centimeter.
Condition: This object is in mint condition with some minor wear and one rimfrit, without any damages or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
