Ancient Hispania - Augustus (27 B. AD. - 14 AD), bronze as (8.60 g. 26 mm.) coined in the mint of Irippo (Southern city of Hispania, antique Roman Baetica. Present-day Lebrija, Seville).
Obv.: Head of Augustus to the right IRIPPO in front.
Reverse: Feminine deity sitting holding a cornucopia and pineapple surrounded by a crown. FAB-1581.
Gorgeous light brown patina, original. Very fine, complete caption, perfect name of the city. Good art variant with grand style and very wide round coin blank (very frequently this mint produced large issues of coins with low weight and a very barbaric and degenerated style).
