He attended his uncle Enrico Tadolini’s studio in Rome, which led him to abandon his classical studies and enrol at the Academy of Fine Arts where he had the opportunity to study with Pericle Fazzini.
In those years, he attended the ateliers of artists in Via Margutta participating in the lively cultural atmosphere of the Fifties.
After graduating, he moved to Paris and took part in the latest creative results of the European avant-garde, focusing mainly on Cubism and Abstractionism.
Back in Italy in 1964, he joined the Informalism movement and in 1965 he took part in the Biennale d’Arte in Rome.
In the Church of the Holy Trinity in Philadelphia (USA) one of his ‘Volto di Cristo’ is exhibited.
