Stunning basin/large water stoup in Nembro Tabaccon marble, finely hand carved and decorated by a professional of the time.
Coming from Lake Garda, was part of the furniture of a noble villa of the province of Verona.
Unique for its half moon shape and for the particular heraldic coat of arms carved on the front. Currently it has no hole for water, but it’s possible to make it upon request without any problem or additional cost.
Probably in the past it was used as a food carrier, the iron residues and iron hinges that allowed a lid (probably iron) to be installed superiorly are still visible.
It can be used as water stoup because it does not have the hole at the moment.
Marble of important workmanship. The veins are extraordinary, as well as the patina, preserved over time. This medium-sized item is perfect for its original use and, thanks to its reasonable dimensions, it can be placed very easily. It is quite heavy.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor.
Exceptional lot of extraordinary quality. Fine and elegant.
Excellent overall condition, intact in all its parts.
In case of shipping, it will be delivered in a wooden crate with appropriate packaging.
Safe and tracked shipping throughout Italy, Europe and the rest of the world at reasonable rates.
