A finely painted Russian icon depicting the entombment of Christ, surrounded by his disciples who wrap him in the shroud. Annotated to the reverse and dated 1854 (icon was made around 1800)
Condition: Generally in a good condition with some paint loss, see pictures.
Needs restoration
