A beautiful silk scarf from the house of Hermes entitled "cuivreries".
The scarf was designed in 1963 by François de la Perriere and the motif draws on the origins of the company's history.
Hermes is still family owned and was founded in Paris in 1878 after the trained saddler opened a high-end harness and bridle shop in Paris after marrying a French woman.
The range was later expanded to include high-priced suitcases and leather bags.
This luxurious silk scarf with its ivory coloured background features a powerful team of horses in the middle that is surrounded by brass ornaments that are decoratively arranged, radiating outwards from the centre of the scarf.
This beautiful silk scarf is used, but is in good condition.
