I am offering an enchanting bronze group by Otto Jarl (born in Sweden in 1856 - died in Vienna in 1915). Jarl was a recognised animal sculptor who also worked for the Meissen porcelain factory.
The bronze is an extraordinarily detailed depiction of two collies who are observing their surroundings.
The item is signed with ‘Jarl’ and is stamped by the ‘Österreichischen Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Medaillenkunst und Kleinplastik’. There is a hallmark and the model number ‘6’ on the side of the plinth.
Height: 105 mm
Width: 165 mm
Depth: 115 mm
Base dimensions: 270 x 200 x 30 mm
The lot will be carefully packed and shipped with the Austrian post with a tracking number.
