Beautiful signature, circa 1898-1914, the "g" is delicately worked, as well as the "a", both “l” are connected together and with the "é" which ends with a line that underlines the signature and cuts the leg of the g at half height.

Emile Gallé, Maître Verrier, cabinetmaker and ceramist, got many awards in his lifetime and is at the origin of the school of Nancy to which participated Majorelle, Daum...
One of the most influential figures of his time in applied arts and one of the pioneers of Art Nouveau.
