Beautiful and hard to find finely worked chest in wood and bone.
Masonic symbol of set square and compass in wood on inlaid bone.
The item was finely worked with inlays, this technique can only be handmade by a craftsman.
I think it must be a very valuable and unique piece, but I honestly do not know its actual value.
The item was probably made to order because I've never seen anything like it in my research on the web.
The two corners of the chest’s opening are missing some bone (see photos).
I believe it was made between 1950 and 1970.
The object must be considered used and second-hand, due to its age.
Shipping via tracked parcel.
The item was purchased at an antiques market, it belongs to the vendor’s collection, currently being divested.
I do NOT ship to Switzerland, Canada, USA, South America, Russia, Arab countries.
