The Mossi weave cotton, it consists in a seasonal activity, practised during the dry season, supplementing the agricultural work during the rainy period.
The weaver works seated on a stool.
The bar of the breast beam lays on the hips.
Feminine looms allow pregnant women at near term to weave. Regarding the weaving, strictly speaking, this machine produces bands of a widest width - from 30 to 40 centimetres - than those of masculine looms.
All of the wraparound skirts which are offered were worn.
We can sometimes note traces of wear, bands which are partially unstitched, and tints which slightly faded off over the years.
However, the offered wraparound skirts have been selected one by one, with much care and attention.
