The watch is in finely decorated gold-plated brass casing.
Dial with enamel ring and Arabic numerals in black. Outer minute scale. Skeletonised in the centre with a finely tooled Jaquemarts automaton - multicoloured enamel. Classic original hands. Blued steel. Beautifully shaped figures - young man and woman selling flowers. Multi-coloured.
The entire timepiece is in very good condition.
Winding at the back - winding key included.
Quarter repetition movement with string recall. The hours and quarter hours are struck with a double stroke, and the figures move and hit the Jaquemarts automaton bell with a hammer and they create the impression that these hammers are responsible for the ringing noise. First the hours are struck, then the quarters by means of double strokes.
Clockwork with spindle movement - day runner - functioning - made around 1810 in Switzerland. As it is a collector object, its runtime and accuracy have not been measured.
On top a large wearing or hanging hoop, all in very beautiful condition.
Watch width 11 cm - height with pendant 19 cm - dial 7.7 cm - depth 20 mm - 872 g - finest attractive shape. Bolted back cap.
