Goldscheider slip cast. It is a character of a ‘gaucho’ made of bronze-plated terracotta from the early 1900s.
Friedrich Goldscheider, founded the Goldscheider & maiolica factory in 1885 and became one of the most influential manufacturers of terracotta ceramics, majolica and bronze objects of the time.
This beautiful cast figure is a gaucho or South American cowboy and has a bronze-plated finish, wearing traditional costume and smoking a pipe, which is missing, standing on a stand with the image of a horse's head.
On the back of the base is the Goldscheider embossed stamp with the model number: 2737 - 119 - 25 and other marks imprinted.
This piece is in good original condition and can be directly put for display in a house, a studio, a workshop or anywhere else giving magic and expression.
The only flaw is on the wrist, which may have undergone a repair, and two small cracks.
The packaging will be careful and special, the shipment will be handled by a professional shipping company, the goods will be insured.
