A splendid example of French art, consisting of a pair of cassolettes made of bronze and white marble, carefully chiselled bronze structure and attention to details, with tripod support, faun’s heads and final hooves. An ancient restoration of one of the bases and some small chips that do not take the charm out of the two cassolettes. The lot has not undergone any recent restoration. We chose to leave the patina developed through time. The weight of the two cassolettes is of 3.291 kg each. A restoration is recommended.
