Pair of late Ming storage jars, 16th/17th century, made in Fujian Province. Typical provincial production made for the domestic market. The jars made in 2 parts, a horizontal seam can be seen on the inside. The unglazed mouthrim roughly cut off, loosely painted floral decorations. H. 23 cm. Confition: one jsr with a horizontal hairline at the locstion of the sewm, the second jar with minor glaze cracks. Overall in very good confition, no chips or repairs.
