Bruno Cantais, a prolific and spontaneous creator, lives in Lyon. He explores various styles, ranging from abstract expressionism in the style of Rauchenberg and De Kooning, to material projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, bordering between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature style remains the physical painting, the endless work on the canvas, reflecting the inner monologue of the artist.
Artist rated on Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005.
Atelier Maeght in 2005.
He recently took part in the Art3f fair in Lyon.
Recent exhibitions in Chisinau in Moldavia, Cannes, Pézenas and at a gala evening at the Abbaye de Paul Bocuse in Lyon in November 2019.
