Raadvad, established in 1758, became famous from the 19th century for knives, blades and kitchen implements. Raadvad's iconic bread slicer, produced for over a century, is a Danish design classic. No longer in production, you can still own one of these machines. This one was produced in the 1970s-1980s according to the original mid-century design.
The original yellow paint is in near mint condition with minor patina (photos). The guillotine blade is in good condition with only a small notch that does not affect function or appearance. It can slice breads (including rye), cheese, soap, fruits or flowers. Or use it as a book-rack or an unusual decoration, at home, or in a shop, cafe or restaurant.
