FRANCESCO RINALDI & FIGLI - BAROLO 1970
FRANCESCO RINALDI & FIGLI - BARBARESCO 1970 (x2)
The winery Francesco Rinaldi inherited one f the vineyards that represent the real face of the Barolo territory: the 3 hectares of sandy and compact soil with sandstone in the Cru of Barolo have the perfect balance of conditions to produce a very good quality Nebbiolo grape.
After pressing the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled cement or stainless steel tanks with skin contact for 30 days where they become wine in a fast and continuous transformation process, then the precious liquid moves to the "halls of silence", a large room where various lots of wine are blended and aged in large-capacity Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 3 years. The wine is then refined in bottles preserved in an underground cellar dug in the "hill of hills” where it continues to evolve while developing elegance and harmony as it matures.
Bottle from a collectionist, always kept in cellar.
