Cultivated without any preventive treatment, the vines are worked in reasoned struggle (the soils are plowed, the compost is used for fertilization, the harvests are done by hand). The aging takes place in 30 to 50% in new barrels for 15 to 18 months.
Located on 2 plots of vines over 30 years old, the Gevrey Chambertins give a fairly clear ruby color. Aromas of cherries and raspberries, as well as spices bring a nice balance between tannins and mellowness. Pleasant and long, Gevrey Chambertin is very pleasant with a soft cheese.
