Pierre Gimenez studied at the Beaux-Arts where he learned sculpture on wood, on metal, on stone. It was later that he opted for bronze sculpture.
To model his works, he draws his inspiration from dance and the body, placing women at the heart of his creations. Under the hands of the artist the bodies are generous and reveal the femininity of the curves. At the same time, the artist also proposes animals including the bull, symbol of Camargue.
The sculptor of curves; specializing in bronze sculpture, Pierre Gimenez does a real job on curves and their roundness. His works are clean and respond to a genuine quest for aesthetic perfection.
"Pierre Gimenez likes to express the essentials in the light of these dancing forms"
