Oil on canvas representing one of the lakes of Le Cloître-Rouge in autumn near Brussels. It is signed on the bottom right and was painted in the 1880-1890. A small restoration is visible on the back of the canvas.
Eugène Plasky is a Belgian painter born on 22 July 1851 in Brussels, he died on 04 March 1905 in Schaerbeek. He studied at the Royal Academy of fine arts in Brussels. His artworks are mainly landscapes.
He has participated in numerous international painting exhibitions, including in France, Great-Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, and Australia.
