A lovely antique Chinese porcelain figurine as censer, depicting a standing man with ruyi scepter and peach branch and ruyi decorated collar, wearing a Gawn decorated with florals, executed in a nice thick glaze. On the backside holes for incense burning, smoke comes out of the top off the head, the mouth, the hands, and from two holes on the back as well, too bad I didn’t had any incense here otherwise I would take a magnificent picture with the figure surrounded by smoke. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Jiaqing period (late 18th/early 19th century). The underside is unglazed. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
