In 1958 Mr.De Brand received Oxford University'.
His professional career was as a Banker Representative with Hongkong-Shanghai Bank these positions allowed him to travel the pacific rim and enjoyed years in Hongkong and mainland China.
It was there that Mr. De Brand was intrigued by the art and history of the area and developed a keen eye for some of the true treasures. It was not unusual for him to venture out of the region and pick up items of interest. While some of his purchases were common and ordinary many are true collectibles.
