A lovely thinly potted antique Chinese porcelain flared cup with a central decoration of a figure in a mountainous landscape with lots of boats, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of double circle patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, Chongzhen period (ca. 1640). On the backside a character mark in a single(!) circle and the Hatcher Cargo label, Christie’s June ’84 (1984). Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 6,6 centimeter.
Condition: The object is in very good condition, normal glaze abrasion, without any damages or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
