Born in Laveno on December 16, 1890.
He lives in Milan.
He studied painting at the Academy of Brera where he had Cesare Tallone as his teacher.
He made his debut at Permanente in 1916, with
‘L’Abbondanza’, a painting which was later purchased by the Company itself.
In the following years, he made mosaics,
stained glass windows and churches in Milan, Piacenza,
Native to Lake Maghiore, his painting is a clear expression of his very nature as a sincere man and a spirit open to manifestations of beauty.
The colours of his lake, which mirror each other between sky and earth, make up his palette and express the personality of the painter himself.
He was an all-round artist,
a painter, mosaicist, decorator.
