Silver-plated metal reliquary of Italian manufacture, containing a relic holder with the relic of St. John Mary Vianney (French presbyter who died in 1859). The relic holder is in gilded silver (see photo in detail with the "800" mark). Inside, once the case is open, on the back of the relic there is the intact seal with red silk thread and wax and two inscription written with a pen, 1144 and 1963, the latter could be the date the seal was applied.
The silversmith's hallmark is difficult to read, but clearly dates back between 1944 and 1967 (Legislative Decree no. 313 of 1944.)
Item is in good condition, both the glass (of the reliquary and the case) are intact.
