Large and wonderful antique stoup.
Dating: 18th century - 1700s. Origin: Southern Italy (Grottaglie - Apulia)
Material: Majolica - Terracotta
Polychrome terracotta stoup in shades of yellow, blue and green, with image of Jesus Christ and four columns in relief; shell at the top. In the centre is a painting depicting Jesus Christ in prayer . This piece recalls the ceramics from Grottaglie.
In excellent condition with small missing parts, please see pictures.
