Omschrijving
Verenigde Staten - Unieke WW2 Soldier ID-armband - Roma - Napels - Sicilië - Monte Cassino gegraveerd - 1944
Origineel - In goede staat

Fantastic WW2 identity bracelet, with unique inscriptions: the owner was a veteran of the Italy campaign (Monte Cassino, Sicily, Naples, Anzio), and his battle campaigns were inscribed on this bracelet. The bracelet is dated 1944. Fantastic and touching original campaign bracelet worn by a soldier who must have seen intense action.

Servicemen wore an identification bracelet as part of their uniform during World War II (1939–45). Identification bracelets were bent metal bands or heavy chains with metal plates engraved with the key elements of his identification: his name, etc. Although they first wore identification bracelets only during the war, men continued to wear their bracelets once they had returned home as a type of jewelry to signal their participation in the war.

100% original item for your USA WW2 collection!
