Spectacular peace-bearing reliquary of San Pascual Bailón, in embossed silver with 4 hallmarks from the 18th century from the Vatican. The University of Goldsmiths was founded in 1508 and the statutes passed the following year introduced the use of the mastery mark in addition to the earlier guarantee mark. In 1738, the guild acquired the name "Nobil Collegio degli Orefici ed Argentieri di Roma". The warranty mark used before the French invasion was a series of "crossed keys of St. Peter under a liturgical umbrella".
It has inside silver reliquary case with carved bevelled rock crystal and a relic of the saint. Golden and polychromed wooden back with a handle for display. It is 32 cm in height. Excellent museum piece.
