Rare big size Boulle mantel clock in almost perfect condition. Case decorated on front and sides with marquetry - brass foliage on the background of faux tortoiseshell, with rich garniture of gilt bronze mounts.

Origin: France, 1855-1865.

French, Parisian movement of very good technical quality stamped: MEDAILLE D'ARGENT / 1855 / VINCENTI&Cie, serial number: 3867. Same number on dial's frame and pendulum, what means all parts are genuine, none was replaced. Vincenti received silver medal in 1855, what means clock was made after 1855 and before 1865. Clock comes with pendulum and winding key. Creamy white enmel with black Arabic numerals. Black steel hands. Glass protecting the dial mounted in gilt bronze frame.

Case in virtually perfect condition, very clean. Gilt bronze mounts complete. One bigger and one small pieces of brass inlays missing. Few uplifted. Check pictures for details. Movement works and strikes. We suggest setting by a professional clockmaster after delivery.
