Elegant item, very much sought-after between the 1950s and the 60s, likely made in Italy. The marks, however, are partially illegible.The main structure is made of silver 800. The central bowl has a smooth surface, embellished with an amazing openwork on the upper edge and 3 equidistant cabochon stones, set inside a decorated diamond shape. The stones are amethyst, amber and turquoise-like blue plastic.The upper part is made of glass and shows 19 slots where you can insert flowers and leaves to create an elegant floral composition and add a touch of class to your table setting.
The glass part is marked “Made in France”. It can be easily removed and the silver bowl can be used as a candy bowl, bread basket, appetizer tray, etc.
It rests on 3 feet, finely decorated with an openwork.
In excellent condition, free form dents and scratches.
