According to the expertise by Herbst BPP: the local letter in question is franked with a 50 C postage stamp from the chamber of commerce in St. Nazaire with adequate mixed franking supplemented with French stamps as followers for the 2 Fr. postage rate. Letter, stamps, and the posting cancellation "St. Pere en Retz - 28.4.45" are genuine. The letter has damage from opening at the top and is folded twice. The postage stamps from the chamber of commerce are in fantastic condition. Only 30,000 pieces of the chamber of commerce stamp were issued. The cancellation "St. Pere en Retz" is rare.
