The Sangiovese grapes have carried out a wine-making process aimed at preserving the aromas and freshness of the fruit. After about 10 days of maceration, the wine obtained was transferred to large barrels, where the malolactic fermentation took place and where it began its maturation process lasting about 12 months. Following bottling, which took place in the spring, the wine underwent further refinement for about a year.
La Braccesca extends over 508 hectares where once stood the ancient Bracci farm, from which the name of the estate and its coat of arms derives: an arm covered with armor holding a sword. The total area of the vineyards is 340 hectares divided into two bodies.
