Offered here's a rare poster from the heydey of the Fillmore West, in San Francisco.
It was used to promote a series of shows featuring the Grateful Dead, Santana and Steppenwolf.
Show dates were August 30 to September 1, 1968.

Artist was Lee Conklin.
Lee Conklin is an artist and graphic designer best known for his psychedelic concert posters he created for the Filmore in San Francisco 1960’s and 70’s. His most iconic image is psychedelic portrait of a lion which was used as an album cover for Santana's first Album.

This iconic early psychedelic image was is the 134th image in the Fillmore series.
Due to the age of this poster, it is nearly impossible to find one of these in nice shape, but this one is in a very very very good condition.
There is a small script “w” at the far right end of the ticket outlet strip at the bottom of this printing.

Framed it looks like brilliant and mint. Minimal handling, a very very clean Poster.
Size is: approx. 14" x 21", or 51 x 35,5 cm
A flat-out gorgeous psychedelic Grateful Dead piece.
