Important silver jewellery box with a rounded design. The knob on its lid is shaped as a flower branch with central hard stones (agate and coral). It rests on four feet shaped as wavy leaves. Made and signed by Mario Buccellati.
Mario Buccellati opened his first shop, in 1919 in Milan, and in the following years he succeeded all over the world. His famous creation were inspired by Renaissance style, nature and animals. His close friend, the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, nicknamed him "the prince of goldsmiths".
