Royal Italian Air Force and aviators' guardian (Loreto Mother). Italian medal with a diameter of about 26 mm, from the period of World War II.
Medal description:
A/ The Virgin Loreto with the child of Jesus and the house floats on a cloud sustained by two angels; at the bottom there is an aviation symbol - an eagle with spread wings. The coat of arms of Savoy dominates, on the left you can see the monogram of the engraver. The inscription: „MARIA VIRGO LAURETANA AERONAUTARUM PATRONA”
R/ The inscription within the string closed at the bottom with a knot: "God protect the wings of Italy"
