This is a genuine used Gentex HGU39P Flight helmet with a MBU12 oxygen mask in a very good to new condition. It is wonderfully painted and the military emblems tell you it was flown by the 77th Squadron of Fighter planes, this Squadron has a long history of flying the F16 Fighting Falcon , nicknamed the “Viper” which was active since 1972. I bought this fantastic used helmet from an American officer who told me that his brother was a Flight-surgeon in the US Navy and stationed on Coronado island just off San Diego and that his brother collected special and rare flight-helmets. The brother died just before retiring and he inherited his belongings and also his helmet collection, I bought this helmet from him. I have had the rare and original piece it in my possession for many years and now is the time to part from this beautiful helmet If you look carefully at the pictures you must agree this is a ‘one of a kind” flight helmet which would be the Pride of any collection.
