A historic & extremely fine binding & provenance book published in 1937-UK Parliament official Limited Edition Book which related to the Coronation of KG VI & the Imperial Conference in 1937 with fine Provenance i.e. Sir Jameson Boyd Adams & Lady Elphinstone.
Book Titled: An Account of the Arrangements and Procedure in Westminster Hall, Friday 7th May, 1937, On the Occasion of the Luncheon of the Empire Parliamentary Association at which King George VI Welcomed the Prime Ministers … and the Delegates to the Empire Parliamentary Conference 4to L. 1937.
Limited Edition 1000 Copies only. One of the book had been presented to King George VI, which become a part of the collection of the UK Crown Collection, i.e. currently exhibiting by Royal Collection Trust.

Sir Jameson Boyd Adams: The Nimrod Expedition of 1907–1909, British Antarctic explorer and Royal Naval Reserve officer, 1935 to become Secretary of King George's Jubilee Trust.
Lady Elphinstone (i.e. Mary Elphinstone, Lady Elphinstone) (1883-1961) : was born Lady Mary Frances Bowes-Lyon on 30 August 1883 in Angus, Scotland, to Claude Bowes-Lyon, 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Cecilia Cavendish-Bentinck. She was an elder sister of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon known as Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom (later The Queen Mother) and was a maternal aunt & the God Parent of Queen Elizabeth II.
The book contains speeches of the Lord Chamberlain, King George VI, Speaker of House of Commons of Canada etc.
Printed in colour, with full page illus., t.e.g., in full crushed crimson mor., tooled gilt chain link border & central decoration, Printed at Cambridge University.
The book also contains Two Extremely High Quality Photogravure with Tissue Guards and One Copperplate Engraving.
Photogravure and engraving contents: King George address and Conference and Luncheon in 1937 Westminster Hall (House of Commons) by the well-known British Engraver and Photographer Sir Emery Walker (2 April 1851 – 22 July 1933).
Sir Emery Walker:
He was an English engraver, photographer and printer. Walker took an active role in many organizations that were at the heart of the Arts and Crafts movement, including the Art Workers Guild, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, and the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society.
The last two photos are showing a letter signed by Sir Jameson Boyd Adams and Presented the book to Lady Elphinstone on St James Palace Letter.
Noted: the Letter from the last two photos is not included in this lot, but it is auctioning via Manuscript & Autograph Auction in Catawiki.
