Binding in good condition, work in its tan full marbled calfskin binding, light marks from use on the covers, ribbed spine adorned with thick blind embossed fillets, gilded fillets, missing title label, gilded frames within the compartments, gilded vertical dentelle fillets, large gilded fleurons, gilded stippling, large gilded long fillets on the head and tail, levelled crowns, blunt angles, gilded fillets on the cuts, all edges red.

Inside in good condition, lovely headbands, ornamental initials, the work is embellished at the end with 16 engraved fold-out plates, rare foxing or small stains within the text. Possible creases affecting the plates, one of which has a small angular lack and two with frayed margin, otherwise in good condition.
