Beautiful handmade ceramic sculpture in art deco style
The almost naked Hawaiian girl walks into the sea where fish are swimming around her. She wears flowers around her neck and hands while turning her face towards the sun.
Mária H. Ráhmer was one of the most important representatives of art deco ceramic art in Europe. He continued his studies in Hungary and in many European countries, so his plans and sculptures all reflect the leading artistic features of the era.
He worked in Hungary, Germany, then moved to France, and finally settled in Canada, where he also taught ceramic art.
